At High Kirk Community Playgroup February was a really busy month with a special visit from Exploris Aquarium in Portaferry. Below are some pictures of the children enjoying the hands on fun.
The starfish was a big attraction and lots of children had the chance to hold one.
Others enjoyed the Sea Urchins which were known as sea hedgehogs and “mermaid’s pouches”. The children spent the day learning lots about sea creatures and fish. Thanks to the Exploris Aquarium for coming to visit High Kirk Playgroup.
